Mikey has sensitive hearing and wants to try and preserve it as much as possible. He therefore has custom made ear plugs, specially designed for musicians supplied by Ultimate ear Hearing protection.
Mikey uses a pair of over the ear headphones the Sennheiser HD 25’s.
Mikey is always looking for further ways to reduce the noise in clubs, so if you know of any suitable professional products please let him know, especially external ear defenders that could be made to encompass the headphones, whilst still wearing the inear plugs, thus ensuring double protection. Mikey did try modifying a pair of defenders, but the fit was not tight enough and pressed on his earplugs.
